Oksana Bula on Cornelia's Funke blog
This year, Cornelia Funke received an award for her contribution to literature from RSL International Writers (Royal Society of Writers, Great Britain).

The author of more than 40 books which have been filmed several times is known in Ukraine thanks to the "Ink Trilogy". The director Guillermo del Toro entrusted her to put into words his movie story "The Pawn's Labirynth" and the first edition of Cornelia's book “Reckless” got 1 000 000 copies.
Cornelia Funke has been creating stories for 34 years and as the author claims she is not tired at all. Many words came from her pen and found readers all over the world, but the writer began her creative career as an illustrator.
Cornelia Funke still make writing and illustration.
"The most important things can't be expressed by words", is the phrase that meets us on the author's blog in the section Magical Image Makers.
"There is much which cannot be put into words, BUT into drawings, paintings, animation, or collage. They can turn our thoughts and feelings into images. They often illustrate what is hard to verbalize. That is great art and it enriches every story.
Here we will introduce illustrators, who inspire us and whose work touches us.”
This November the guest of the month is Oksana Bula.
The interview can be read on Cornelia's Funke official website.
